Education Week Open Day and Book Week

During Education Week, we warmly invite families and community members to explore our open classrooms, where you can experience engaging lessons and innovative learning in action.

Our annual Book Character Parade is also part of our Education Week celebrations. Our Book Character Parade is a vibrant celebration of reading and creativity that brings the whole school community together. Students dress up as their favourite book characters, sparking excitement and a love for literature across all year levels. This fun and colourful event encourages imagination, storytelling, and a lifelong passion for books, making reading an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone.

Stage 3 Canberra Camp

Our Stage 3 Camp to Canberra, is a valuable experience for students to learn about how the Australian Government functions and the way in which it was formed. Students visit a number of important sites related to our democracy and also learn about the growth and development of the Australian Capital Territory itself.

As well as a valuable learning experience, it also provides students with a fantastic way to build friendships and develop important life skills. The enthusiasm and energy of everyone involved makes the camp a great way of creating lasting memories and a strong sense of community.

Easter Hat Parade

Our Easter Hat Parade is a joyful tradition that celebrates creativity and community spirit. Students design and decorate their own festive hats, showcasing their imagination and artistic skills. This colourful event brings everyone together to enjoy the fun, share smiles, and embrace the festive season in a lively and memorable way. There might even be a special vistor on the day!

Diwali Celebrations

Our Diwali celebrations help students learn about the beliefs and traditions that make the festival special. Through activities like storytelling, creating art works and discussing traditional clothing worn during Diwali, students gain a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity and respect for others’ faiths. Celebrating together also strengthens the sense of community within the school, as everyone comes together in joy, understanding, and friendship.

Athletics Carnival

Our annual Athletics Carnival is one of the most exciting events on the school calendar, bringing together students, staff, and families for a day full of energy, teamwork, and school spirit. From thrilling races and field events to cheering from the sidelines, the carnival showcases the incredible talent and enthusiasm of our students. It’s a wonderful celebration of sportsmanship, perseverance, and community pride—an event that everyone looks forward to each year!

End of Year Celebration Colour Run

Our End of Year Colour Run is a vibrant and joy-filled celebration that marks the perfect end to the school year. Students and staff come together to run, laugh, and get covered in bursts of colour, creating unforgettable memories along the way. The event promotes fun, fitness, and togetherness, while celebrating the hard work and achievements of everyone throughout the year. It’s a lively, colourful event that perfectly captures the spirit and energy of our school community!
